Hi, lol :) I'm not really 84 :) Yeah I work and make a lot of music on the side some of which I upload here. It does seem NG's dying though. I mean, the portal is like 1/100 of it's size of a few years back. Whats going on ?

Well it seems like a lot of vids don't have the amount of views they used to have ! For example, I saw a protected vid yesterday, high ratings, with only 80 views ! That was unthinkable like 6 years ago.
I was thinking about that..I don't think it has anything to do with Newgrounds,there was much discussion about it in the forums a few months ago.It's also funny that there are some submissions from a few weeks ago still there with their thousands of views but hadn't pass judgement.What do you think?
Hmm, that's odd. Yeah I think NG still has the future and the present. I don't think it can compete with YT as a platform for flash and peer interaction so the views should be good ! What do you think ? So what's the cause of these vids sitting there with not enough votes apperantly ?
Maybe they are just views,not votes,so that might be the reason they are still there with a growing number of views.My thought about the one submission that passed with a much smaller number of views might have a larger percentage of those who viewed it voting on it,so it doesn't matter if you have thousands of views(I saw one with more than 5000 views years ago),it's the percentage of votes you get.Did you see the 'About NG',it could help explain everything here.While it's true that it doesn't a large platform like Youtube as it doesn't earn that much funds,I don't it is 'smaller' because there would be fewer submissions and posts than before(which isn't true.)I like Newgrounds for its community,what about you?
I made a mistake in my previous post. I think YT can't compete with NG as a platform dedicated to flash + flash community. So I meant that NG still owns this very important niche and I think can dominate it and continue to exist. I can't find the post you refer to. Yes I like NG because of its community and great content. Its the same in the audio department; quite lively. Nowhere do I know a place online at the moment where something I upload is listened to 100+ times in a few days and downloaded a few times per month !
